How to TRADE-IN
1. GET AN ESTIMATE
We only accept gear that meets our performance requirements.
2. TRADE IT IN
Complete the TRADE-IN form online to get a shipping label. Then, package your gear and mail it to us. To save on shipping fees, bring it to an Arc’teryx store.
3. EARN CREDIT
Once your gear has been accepted, we will email you your credit. Redeem this at any Arc'teryx store, on arcteryx.com, or resale.arcteryx.ca.
What's my gear worth?
Get a credit worth 20% of the original retail price for each eligible item. Only gear that meets our performance requirements will be accepted for trade-in.

We accept clean gear in great condition. If you’d give it to a friend, we’ll likely accept it. Some gear categories are not eligible.

How does the Arc’teryx ReBIRD™ TRADE-IN program work?
In the U.S. or Canada you can bring your used gear to trade in at any Arc'teryx store or outlet, or you can trade in online. Your gear must fall within the eligibility criteria, be in good condition and completely functional with the inner product label still attached.
Once inspected and approved, you will receive a digital gift card to use on arcteryx.com or RESALE.arcteryx.ca. Our store finder can help you find the closest Arc'teryx brand store near you.
How much money will I receive for gear I Trade-in?
Items that are eligible for trade in will be worth 20% of their original retail value. This will come in the form of an Arc’teryx digital gift card.*
Note: For online trade-ins (U.S. & Canada only), a small amount will be deducted from the total on the gift card to cover shipping costs.

What gear is accepted for Trade-in?
Items we accept include:
- GORE-TEX 2L
- GORE-TEX 3L jackets and pants
- Non-GORE-TEX jackets
- Insulated jackets
- Mid-layers & Fleece
- Pants & Shorts
- Blended Shirts & Tops
- Dresses & Skirts
- Footwear (less than 2 years old)
- Packs
- Veilance items
Trade-in gear must be in good condition and completely functional.
What gear isn't accepted for Trade-in?
We do not accept the following items due to safety, hygiene, or difficulty of repair:
- GORE-TEX PACLITE jackets and pants
- GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY jackets
- Any product with custom embroidery (special make-up units)
- Cotton T-Shirts
- Pack water bladders
- Headwear, Accessories and Gloves
- Base layers and Underwear
- Air bags
- Harnesses & Climbing Gear
- Ski boots
- Footwear (older than 2 years old)
Unfortunately, we also do not accept Arc’teryx LEAF.
How can I send my gear for Trade-in?
If you're in the U.S. or Canada, you can start your trade-in online or bring it to an Arc'teryx store or outlet. Right now our ReBIRD™ RESALE and TRADE-IN program isn't available outside North America, but we're working on it.
When submitting a trade-in online, you will need to tell us a little about the item(s) you're trading in, then you will have to request a pre-paid shipping label and send your item with a box you supply.
Note: For online trade-ins (U.S. & Canada only), a deduction will be made from the trade-in's total value to cover the cost of shipping.
Items traded in through a brand store will have no shipping deductions.
Can I trade-in in store
Yes! We’ve restarted our trade-in program in all Arc’teryx brand stores (find a store). As a precaution for Covid we’re asking that all used gear be washed and not worn post-wash to avoid contact with one’s face area before being traded in.
Will my gear be returned if it's not accepted?
Once you have shipped your gear to us for trade-in, we cannot return it if we find it is not acceptable for resale. However, if you bring your gear to an Arc'teryx brand store for trade-in, you will be able to take it home with you if it is found not in resellable condition.
Through ReBIRD™, we service, care for, and give our gear multiple lives, so performance stays at its peak beyond a single adventure, season, or individual.
